kit1When your kitten first arrives to your home, it is recommended that you have a small room prepared where food, water and litter box are readily accessible. Some kittens may walk around when they first arrive, while others might need some coaxing. Allow yours to explore the new surroundings a little bit. The best way to win your kitten over is with a new mylar toy, which they fine difficult to resist. Playing with your kitten will help the two of you quickly to form a bond. Some Ragdolls also like to crawl into bed and sleep with you. This may also help the two of you to form a strong bond quickly. if there are other pets in home, wait for your kitten to form a strong bond with you and other family members before introducing them to other pets. A ten day quarantine period is imperative for your kittens development and health. Since a kitten is typically stressed during there transition period, there immune system is weakened. Mature family pets may carry viral strains that don’t affect them, whereas if they were exposed to a kitten, could have damaging effect.

aspenRagdoll kittens have deep blue eyes, soft bunny fur coats which is low shedding and resistant to matting. They have the sweetest docile dispositions. Giving them lots of love and attention they develop very good temperament and want to be with you all the time, to be your best friend and soul mate companion.

They go limp like a child’s Ragdoll, they are the gentle giants. Owning a Ragdoll is like owning a small puppy in a cats suit.

My cattery is virtually spotless. Kittens are raised in a large, clean home, roaming freely and never caged, which helps maintain and guarantee that you receive a well socialized baby, that lives up to the name of Ragdoll.
